Angels Among Us - A Special Needs Community to Receive Proceeds from Local Philanthropic Event

Montgomery, AL — August 31, 2026 — Angels Among Us - A Special Needs Community is pleased to announce its partnership with Tidal Wave Auto Spa for the company's 18th annual Charity Day event, to be held on Friday, September 18, 2026. As part of Tidal Wave's long-standing commitment to giving back, the company will donate 100% of wash proceeds made during the one-day philanthropic event to local charities and non-profit organizations. 

Why This Partnership Matters: Angels Among Us - A Special needs community serves special needs angels across the River Region providing a community where all are welcome, regardless of age or disability. They provide low-cost events for both angels and their families that create memories that last a lifetime. From their annual pageant, family game nights, holiday parties, and informational events for parents/caregivers, Angels Among Us could not create these special moments without the partnership of Tidal Wave. 

Angels Among Us - A Special Needs Community is pleased to partner with all three Tidal Wave Auto Spa's Montgomery, Alabama locations at 6975 Atlanta Highway, 8070 Vaughn Road, and 4135 Atlanta Highway for this year's event. Angels Among Us- A Special Needs Community will receive 50% of proceeds raised at this location on September 18th. The remaining 50% will go to Tidal Wave's corporate partners: Annandale Village, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing progressive life assistance to adults with developmental disabilities, and The Joseph Sams School, a non-profit organization providing educational and therapeutic support for children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Join Us: The public is invited to visit Tidal Wave Auto Spa at 6975 Atlanta Highway, 8070 Vaughn Road, and 4135 Atlanta Highway in Montgomery, AL on Friday, September 18th, from 8 AM - 8 PM, for a car wash supporting Angels Among Us-A Special Needs Community and its mission. No appointment needed — just drive up and wash for a cause.

Over the event's 17-year history, Tidal Wave has donated more than $2.8 million to charitable organizations, with $864,075 raised at last year's event. 2026 marks the company's 18th annual Charity Day event, with 319 participating locations across 30 states.
